Job offer [US]: Business Development Manager

Business Development Manager

NORRES North America Inc. is currently seeking a highly driven and accomplished Business Development Manager who has experience within the industrial hose market.

The primary responsibility will include driving revenue and increasing market share through selling highly flexible industrial hose solutions in a Regional territory consisting of (IL, IN, OH, MI, KY, MO, WI, KS, NE, SD, ND and MN).
Job Type: Full-time.

A challenging task

  • Maximize sales revenues on “New” and existing OEM accounts within specified target applications defined by (Director of Sales)
  • Carry out specific sales activities defined by Director of Sales
  • Expand and strengthen relationships with a nationwide network of distributors/wholesalers and MRO’s
  • Identify Potential target Customers within existing and new market segments and proactively pursue these opportunities to grow our customer base
  • Assist in developing and managing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts/customers to grow territory

A successful background

  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Relevant Field is a preferred but not required
  • Experience within the Industrial Hose Market preferred not required
  • Experience within the field of “Industrial Fume & Dust applications” preferred but not required
  • Experience within the field of “Pneumatic Conveying” preferred but not required
  • Minimum 2-5 yrs. experience in a consultative technical sales initiated through “New Business Development”
  • Represent NORRES North America in a Professional Manner
  • (Solution Provider) Listen, Solve, Deliver
  • Track record of identifying new sales opportunities within existing and new market segments and meeting/exceeding aggressive sales targets
  • “Sales Hunter” mentality - candidates should be comfortable with lead generation and initiating contact with prospective customers
  • Ability to travel within defined territory 50-70% of the time (by car/plane)
  • Highly Self-Motivated and driven individual
  • Dependable, integrity, assertiveness, flexibility, and possess a strong team spirit while working independently
  • Microsoft Office Proficient - Ability to conduct weekly reporting
